This session is designed to allow you the opportunity to begin to get to know your therapist and to establish your treatment goals. The therapeutic relationship is designed to assist you in achieving your goals toward health. Mrs. Heath utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with a large percentage of her patients to address the negative thinking that perpetuates the ineffective behaviors, belief sytems and attitudes that keep us stuck in unhealthy patterns. You and your therapist will work toward improving the quality of your life and your relationships while you are in treatment. You may participate in individual, family, couples, and group therapy while at Hope Counseling Center.
